(Time for the Magnificent Bitch of the Little Mermaid world to step up. If I pass that is... Go go sea witch magic...)

Delicious. That was the only word for it, as Ursula lounged on her bony throne, listening to some pathetic merwretch begging her for a love charm to make his 'one true love' fall for him. The entreaty occupied half of her attention at best, the plump seawitch playing with one tendrill and thoughts on the much more interesting offer she'd received from her off-World visitor... The trident would only be the first prize she'd get if he delivered one half, Tides, one quarter of what he promised in exchange for her assistance.

That is *if* he delivered and wasn't playing her like she played all the pathetic wretches who had come to her... It's not like she had been given a name and apperances could be oh so deceptive when magic was involved.

This prompted the white-haired witch to frown and rest more weight on her palm, eyes narrowing in suspion. Ursula hadn't come this far in her quest to dominate the oceans by being a fool. No, she had outwitted all her teachers, all her rivals, and was only one, decisive move from the throne in Atlantica... Most of the former two groups were part of lair guardians, bemoaning their lot in existence and terrorized by her loyal eel servants. The merwretch aparently took her frown as a sign of refusal and kicked it up a notch, annoying her.

Ursula sat up and intoned acidly, "Oh, shut up. You'll get your charm. Never let it be said I cheat a paying customer who obeys the rules... What kind of a witch would I be if I did that? Come..."

She smiled and oozed off her throne towards her workshop, eyes gleaming evily at the unstated truth that by no means would the payment be entirely fair or for that matter, possible to pay by conventional means. She had to have some fun while she pondered this, after all...

I can honestly say that I am very disappointed in you. I'm so used to you having either rapier wit or crazy bloodshed in most of your posts... But that isn't to say that you didn't portray the fatty accurately. On the contrary, I always found her among the more tame disney villains (and they are all rather tame), so the hedging from what I see from you most often is a good thing. You'll do fine with her.
